Horizon Community Planning is a local government consulting firm that specializes in zoning and development code updates. However, our experience covers a wide spectrum of the field of planning, from the initial vision to final compliance inspections. While we work primarily with local governments, we understand the priorities of citizens, advocacy groups, community stakeholders, business people, developers, and builders.
We also serve in administrative and enforcement roles, sometimes with
ordinances we drafted ourselves. This all-encompassing experience
provides a unique perspective to writing zoning and development
codes, as we know what works and what does not. Advice based on
